PRESENTATION AT RUSHY MEADOW PRIMARY SCHOOL – SUTTON
On 8th July, Maskarade Languages team was proud to present its teaching method and resources to Year 5 pupils at Rushy Primary School.
Rushy Meadow Primary head teacher, Karen Rhodes, speaks fluent French and has been encouraging the teaching of the language at the school for years. She has therefore been employing a French teacher, Elodie Camiah, for the past 10 years, who herself is the director of the French school “Le Petit Poucet” which teaches bilingual children aged 3 to 11.
Elodie Camiah comments: “After trying lots of different methods and resources over the years, I recently opted for Maskarade Languages, which are just brilliant for engaging the children into speaking the language, especially the role-play aspect. The children love the characters because they can relate to their characteristics and stories. As a teacher, I love the lesson plans because they are so well prepared and structured which allows you to concentrate on what matters; teaching.”
