The Education Resources Awards highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplies industry, all working together to encourage the very best in education. The awards are organised in association with the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).

Finalists and winners will be announced at the gala awards ceremony on Friday 15^th March at The National Motorcycle museum. The black tie event will commence at 6.45pm with guests invited to sit down for a 3-course dinner at 7.20pm. The awards ceremony will commence at approx 9.45pm and will be hosted by a celebrity comedian, followed by the chance to network and then enjoy a disco and fun casino, the evening will end around

1-1.30am.

Our private tuition is suitable for children aged between 3 to 12 years old and operates in small groups at your premises. We provide a fully trained French native tutor, CRB checked, who comes to run the club at your premises. No running around for you and additionally as host your will receive 25% discount for one place.  Our programme includes a selection of  fun activities involving our characters. Healthy snack and activity books (click here to view sample book) are also provided. We offer 4 levels:

• pre-school

• level 1 (beginner)

• level 2 (intermediate)

• level 3 (advanced)

Our sessions last between 45 min for toddlers and 1 hour for Juniors and includes:

• fun exercises

• games, songs and recipes

• art and craft activities

• role-play and improvisation

MARIE FOUINE is a wonderful baker who loves sharing her favourite recipes with people. MARIE is 70 years old, she owns the local grocery-shop at "Petit Quinquin" and works there with her husband JEAN. Besides baking cakes MARIE also likes gossiping and often acts like a detective...Funny old MARIE!!

Les recettes de Marie Fouine

"Les Meringues"

(Meringues)

Préparation (preparation): 10 minutes

Ingrédients (ingredients):

Pour 20 meringues (for 20 meringues)

4 blancs d'œuf (4 egg whites )

250g de sucre (250g of sugar)

Tips: Take out the eggs from the fridge 15 minutes before and add a pinch of salt to the whites before whisking.

Préparation:

Préchauffe le four à 120°C (Pre-heat the oven to 120°C/ gas mark 1).

Sépare les blancs des jaunes

(Separate egg whites from yolks).

Bats les blancs en neige très ferme 

(Whisk whites until stiff).

En même temps ajoute le sucre par petites quantités

(At the same time add the sugar in small quantities).

Dépose des petits tas sur une plaque de four recouverte de papier sulfurisé

(Spoon onto baking tray covered with baking paper).

Fais cuire entre 30 minutes et 1 heure à 120°C (Cook for 30 minutes to an hour at 120°C).

Décole les meringues du papier et laisse refroidir (Remove the meringues from the baking paper and leave to cool)
