Maurice Quinquin is one of our most popular characters. He's the mayor of Petit Quinquin, the richest, oldest (he's 100 years old) and most powerful man in town. Spying on his people is his modus operandi in an effort to keep everything under control, so that nothing can ever change...ever. Nevertheless, there are some things even Maurice can't control, like the spending habits of his young wife Brigitte and the daily tantrums of his daughter Annabelle. Maurice also dreams of winning the lottery and always aches everywhere. So this song is about him complaining about his little aches and the children of Le Petit Quinquin mocking him...
