WHAT IS "LE PETIT QUINQUIN?"

BIENVENUE AU PETIT QUINQUIN!

Take an assorted collection of French citizens, squeeze them into a town square, give them a good dose of Gallic humour, a sprinkling of Latin passion, topped with succulent cuisine and you have Le Petit Quinquin.

Located slap bang in the centre of France, Le Petit Quinquin is a charming little town steeped in history, bustling with colourful characters. A microcosm of modern society, we discover the inhabitants of le Petit Quinquin little by little, their routines, their amusements, their frustrations… Léon Panzini’s charming café and restaurant, Colette Leboeuf’s welcoming hairdresser, Bernard Leboeuf’s magical toyshop, George Merlot’s aromatic bakery or Rachid Mouzafar’s colourful fruit and vegetable market stall. The charms and intrigue of their daily interactions suck us in.

At the heart of Le Petit Quinquin is the Mayor, Maurice Quinquin, the richest, oldest and most powerful man in town. Spying on his people is his modus operandi in an effort to keep everything under control, so that nothing can ever change…ever. Nevertheless, there are some things even Maurice can’t control, like the spending habits of his young wife Brigitte, the daily tantrums of his daughter Annabelle, the constant gossiping of Marie and Jean Fouine, the grocers, the endless complaints of the butcher Roger and his wife, Odette, the fishmonger.

Then of course there are the children of le Petit Quinquin like Lillie Yun, who loves all living creatures, Lulu who loves singing, her sister Coco who dreams of travelling, Olivier who dreams of space travel, Alexandre who loves football or the triplets who are complete fashion addicts.
If there is one cloud on the horizon for the Mayor, it is the ambitious and knowledgeable Simon Kizouka, owner of the Newspaper “Le Quinquin”. With political ambitions himself, he is the only man who could disrupt the balance of power in the mayor’s quiet little idyll.

All in all, Le Petit Quinquin offers a plentiful melting pot of adventures to keep us engrossed for years to come…
